§ 1 Scope and Contracting Parties

1.2 Scope
These General Terms and Conditions (GTC) apply to all contracts between Bissekkou & Weber GbR and users of the Glassline platform. Deviating terms of the customer will only be effective if we explicitly agree to them in writing.
1.3 Definitions
- "Service" refers to the Glassline Photo Gallery platform
- "User" refers to registered users of the platform
- "Content" refers to all photos and data uploaded by users
- "Gallery" refers to photo collections created by the user
§ 2 Service Description
2.1 Scope of Services
Glassline is a cloud-based photo gallery platform. It allows photographers to upload, manage, and share photos with selected individuals or groups.
2.2 Availability
We guarantee availability of services at 95% on an annual average. Maintenance work will be announced and performed outside of peak usage times when possible.
2.3 Data Storage
Your photos are securely stored on servers in the European Union. Payment processing is handled through our GDPR-compliant partner Lemon Squeezy.
§ 3 Contract Formation and Registration
3.1 Registration
Using the service requires registration with:
- Name and email address
- Agreement to these Terms and the Privacy Policy
3.2 Contract Formation
The usage contract is established by completing a subscription.
3.3 Minimum Age
The service is intended for users 18 years and older.
§ 4 Prices and Payment Terms
4.1 Pricing
Current prices can be viewed on our website at glassline.app/#pricing.
4.2 Subscription Model
The service is offered as a monthly subscription. Billing occurs in advance at the beginning of each billing period.
4.3 Payment Processing
Payment processing is handled through our payment service provider Lemon Squeezy.
4.4 Late Payment
In case of late payment, we may block access to the service until outstanding amounts are paid in full.
§ 5 Usage Rights and Obligations
5.1 Granted Usage Rights
We grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service in accordance with these Terms.
5.2 User Obligations
You agree to:
- Use the service only for lawful purposes
- Not upload content that infringes copyright
- Obtain necessary model releases for photos of people
- Not publish offensive, discriminatory, or illegal content
- Keep your access credentials confidential
5.3 Prohibited Content
The following content is prohibited:
- Photos that infringe copyright
- Explicit sexual depictions or nudity
- Content glorifying violence or containing discrimination
- Malware, viruses, or harmful code
- Spam or unwanted advertising
§ 6 Ownership of Content and License Grant
6.1 User Ownership
You retain full ownership and all copyrights to your uploaded photos and content.
6.2 License for Service Operation
By uploading, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use your content exclusively for the following purposes:
- Storage and display in your galleries
- Provision of sharing functions
- Technical processing (backup, optimization)
6.3 License Termination
This license automatically terminates when you cancel your account.
§ 7 Data Protection and Security
7.1 Data Protection
The protection of your data is carried out in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which is an integral part of these Terms.
7.2 Data Security
We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your data. All data transfers are SSL/TLS encrypted.
7.3 Data Loss and Backup Responsibility
Important: We assume no liability for data loss. Glassline is designed as a sharing platform - you should always store and back up your original photos locally. We assume that you primarily use our service to share and present your already existing photos.
Regular backups are created by us, however, in the event of data loss, we cannot guarantee recovery.
§ 8 Term and Termination
8.1 Contract Term
The contract runs for an indefinite period with monthly billing.
8.2 Regular Termination
Both parties can terminate the contract at any time with one month's notice to the end of the billing period.
8.3 Extraordinary Termination
We may terminate the contract without notice in case of:
- Violations of these Terms
- Late payment of more than 30 days
- Illegal use of the service
- Endangering platform security
8.4 Consequences of Termination
After contract termination:
- Access to the service ends immediately
- Your account and all content will be completely deleted
💡 Our tip: Back up your data before cancellation if you want to keep it.
§ 9 Warranty and Liability
9.1 Warranty
We guarantee the contractual provision of the service. In case of defects, we will remedy them within a reasonable time.
9.2 Limitation of Liability
Our liability is limited to intent and gross negligence. For slight negligence, we are only liable for breach of material contractual obligations.
9.3 Maximum Liability
Liability is limited in amount to the fees paid in the last 12 months, but not exceeding 1,000 euros per case of damage.
9.4 Excluded Damages
Liability is excluded for:
- Indirect damages and consequential damages
- Lost profits
- Data loss of any kind - as Glassline is designed as a sharing service, you bear the responsibility for local backup of your original photos
§ 10 Changes to the Terms
10.1 Right to Change
We reserve the right to modify these Terms and to inform our customers accordingly.
10.2 Notification Procedure
Changes will be communicated to you in a timely manner by email.
10.3 Right of Objection
You can object to changes within 6 weeks. In case of objection or non-response, the new Terms are deemed approved, which we will point out in the change notification.
§ 11 Force Majeure
In case of force majeure (natural disasters, cyber attacks, pandemics, etc.), we are released from the obligation to perform for as long as these events continue.
§ 12 Final Provisions
12.1 Applicable Law
German law applies, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods.
12.2 Severability Clause
Should individual provisions be invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions remains unaffected.
12.3 Contract Language
The contract language is German.
